Has anyone ever used a predator call on hogs? Any success? I would appreciate any insight. Thanks

I have never had any luck using a predator call to call hogs. I have called one hog using a hog grunt call and two others using a hog grunt and hog squealer call. I don't think it is a very consistant way to hunt hogs. The one I called with just the grunt call was a very large sow and she came charging through a thicket after two series of grunts. I shot her at about twenty feet. I always thought she was in heat. The other two were boars. I was sitting in a tree stand both times and would use the grunt then the squealer call about every 5 to 10 minutes. They both came in in about thirty minutes and were walking very slowly like they were looking for other hogs. I have called many, many times with no response. I still try when I'm hunting because it's really neat when one shows up.

The best I have seen are ones that sounds close to a piglet squeal, they seem to bring them on in a hurry. Stay Alert,Stay Alive Niet geschoten is altijd mis Hate of America is the defeat position of failed individuals and the failing state
