I like the 300 Wby Mag a lot. I have had 3 different 300WBY rifles. When preparing for a trip to Alaska I was taking my 450/400 double for Brown Bear and wanted to take an accurate scoped rifle for wolf and back up on bear if necessary. My friend and gunstore owner suggested I finally [he hunts with one and had been talking them "up" to me for a while],get a Blaser as it would take down and fit in the same case as my double. Time was short and the did not have a 300 WBY bbl in stock of I would have got it as I already had reloading dies for it. I now have 2 300 Win Mag bbls for my Blaser R-93. I see no difference in the field.
Get which ever one you like the best.
I have 8 bbls for my Blaser [including the 28ga bbl, which has taken ducks, turkey and quail], all are very accurate. I like the Blaser R-93 quite a bit, it is my favorite hunting bolt actioned rifle.
