I saw a sounder from the cab of my semi.. 'bout 36 miles west of I35 on Oklamhoma 70.. south side of the highway in a little green field, 'bout a hundred yards off the pavement.. 4:30 pm on Wednesday.. three or four black hogs and about 15 footballs... almost hit the skids.. but no gun,, don't know who owns the field.... got my blood up though....Les

I managed to slip in on a group of about 30 oinkers yesterday/Saturday afternoon.

I worked my way into range and about 7:45 p.m., I picked out what turned out to be an 82 pound boar.

Made a 150 to 160 yard shot with my 35 Whelen, caught the critter in the side of the head.

Don't think that is where I was aiming, but what the hell, the sucker was one of my few DRT shots, so I was happy.

Even the rocks don't last forever.

I bet when you smoke a ham or grill them tenders, they will taste just a sweet as if you hit where you were aiming.
