Any AR members interested in hunting hogs with dogs in south texas? If so, I might try to put something together for this summer. No guarantees that I can get something put together, but I just thought I'd guage people's interest.

I would definately be interested.

The Hunt goes on forever, the season never ends.

I didn't learn this by reading about it or seeing it on TV. I learned it by doing it.

I may have used up all of my kitchen passes and extra hunt money already, but if not I would be interested.

Good luck -- maybe it will cool off a bit by then.

Forecast calls for it to cool off significantly through the weekend. Hopefully, rain stays away as well. Nothing more annoying that rain disrupting a hog's movement patterns after you've already set a gameplan.

I might be interested in puttin a pig in the freezer also. I am curious if the running of the pig and him getting hot would have anything to do with the way he tastes after you put him on the plate.

I am in south Texas, please keep me posted! If the location is close, I can bring an extra rifle for travelers.

Rattlesnake:

I'd be interested in learning more about this hunt. I'm in VA but could fly down for a weekend to smack some hogs. I'd hunt, of course, with my .500 NE DR.

Send me some information.
