This is a ranch hunt all inclusive with 5 meals lodging and skinning, quartering and cold storage all included.

Justin and Joe are the owners and are great people. Bob is the cook and will feed you great and has a super personality. I have used them two times and have been very pleased in every aspect. You can use me for a referance name if you inquire information from them. Just tell them Ted from Poplar Bluff sent you looking.

Looks like a nice operation, ted. That's a nice hog you took! What did you kill it with?

I killed that boar with a 200 grn. 40 cal. Hornady SST from my Knight .45 cal front loader.

As far as the layout....The property is 4 miles from the closest blacktop road. It hunts just over 400 acrers all high fence (Missouri Law) for exotics. No cross fencing all woods, oak ceader, pine, hickory ect. With the lodge style house right in the midle so hunters can go off in all directions. Each hunter is told where to go and what area is his to hunt (I still hunted both of the times I whent and never ran into another hunter)

Last year everything was covered with about 1/8" of ice so you could hear the hogs rooting and you could sneak up on them. This year there was snow about 4" so you just got on tracks until you found hogs.

The guys give you a radio to call the lodge after you kill a hog and they come get it out with a Polaris Ranger and drive you and the hog back to the lodge where they skin, quarter, chill, then Bob feeds you very good!

The hunts start on noon Fridays and end on noon Sunday. The two times I have hunted there everyone killed hogs. Some guys use bows some handguns some frontloaders some centerfire rifles. The hunters are segragated in different areas as to keep gun hunters and bow hunters away from each others.

Ted,

Thanks for the area description. Sounds like those folks take care of their hunters and that you had a good time. Good job!

That looks like a good eatin' pig, Ted -- congratulations! Is that Predator camo you are wearing by chance?

It sure is.... since around 1990 a pro hunter friend of mine David Westmoreland gave me a set of the gray and I have worn nothing else since it is great stuff. I like the brown and the gray the best I have some green and it is a bit loud.

It looks like the perfect pattern for Fall and Winter -- at least out east where I am. The Spring Green pattern is a bit on the loud side!
