Having recently moved to SW Missouri I'm greatly pleased to find out we have a feral hog problem down here dancing

So my goal is to garner some information from someone with experience here in MO. I've hunted hogs before, got my 45/70 ready to go, just wondering if anyone has been down here and can recommend any areas.

I'm east of Springfield, not far from the Arkansas border.

And yes, I'd be willing to take you along if you care to go ;-)

Well, the hog "problem" is not as big as the DOC would have you believe. They are trying to prevent the issue by having the blurb in the deer hunting documents about shoot on sight. When I contacted the DOC, most of the issues were on private farms in the middle of the state around the Fort Leonard Wood army base. That was the best they could give me.

There are places to pay and hunt them, but I did not gather that was what you wanted.

Shoot! Frowner

I was hoping for more of a problem...

Well we're just gonna go see what we can find I guess, I'm still too cheap to pay for hunting right now. That may change, who knows.

Thanks for the heads up.
