We've still got lot's o pigs, so Dr Scott and his wife came down to our cabin yesterday to get out of town and maybe shoot a pig or two. Game cameras showed several pigs coming to two different feeders, a couple of big ugly black pigs at one feeder and a bunch of medium size multicolored pigs to another feeder, including a spotted sow I've wanted to shoot for about a year. Scott went to one feeder and I went to the other, the pigs at the feeder Scott was watching showed up at the usual time and he shot the biggest with his Remington 721 in Super 30, about 10 minutes after he texted me saying he shot one, three big pigs and a bunch of piglets came out about 20 yards in front of my stand, including the spotted sow. I was shooting my suppressed .300 Blackout with 150 gr Speer bullets at about 2000 fps and managed to shoot all three big pigs, every one of them ran off into the brush. I was able to locate them, none ran more than about 75 yards. So, 4 down and no telling how many more to go. If scott posts a picture of his, I'll get him to post one for me, too. I can't get Photobucket to work anymore. Karl Evans

Good job on the hat trick! Went out yesterday to fill feeders. Pigs are still around my lease but refused to show up before it was time to head back to Dallas. ------------------------------- Some Pictures from Namibia Some Pictures from Zimbabwe An Elephant Story

G'day Karl! Sounds fun! I smashed a one-eyed pirate of a boar in horrid-thick jungle with the Mauser .300H&H at around the same time you blokes were getting stuck into them! Cheers, Ben
