Dustoffer, where is that you have a lease? Looks like a heck of a place for most hunters who LOVE to hunt pigs..including myself!!!!

Ram Rod -- this pic is from Guadalupe County, near Seguin, but it isn't a lease, just a friend who asked for some help with "hog control." Of course, I was happy to oblige him, and have been for 6-7 years. I have another spot, same landowner situation, in Gonzales County.

I'm just blessed to have friends who want/need/appreciate the fact I'm an ORMF (old retired military fellow) with nothing to do but sit in the blind at night and kill hogs.

Having said all of that, I have only been able to take one person with me -- a friend's teenage daughter who killed her first and second hogs last summer. She'll be back this coming summer so maybe she'll get another opportunity.

Seems like a heck of a place to hunt!! my father (formerly known as doubless here on AR) he and I loved to hunt pigs together. I lost him this past Feb after a 4 year battle to cancer. So now, I'm in the market for a new hunting partner.

Most people can't stand feral hog, but I think you and I both know that you can't beat wild pork!!! Hope that young lady is successful this next go around! thanks for sharing!!
