Got to the tower about 8:00 pm. Had some pictures of pigs getting there early. Did not happen! Feeder goes off at 9:00. About 10:30 a coon slips in and I think "if its still here at 11:00" I'll end the night. Coon takes off, could mean a deer is about to show. Deer do not share the corn with coons but run from pigs. A little after 11:00 the pig finally shows! Sit three hours for a 5 minute adrenalin rush! 416 Rigby quartering toward me. He turned and made three steps! Got up this morning and bought corn and went to fill feeders. Driving down the pasture road to the feeder, what is walking on the road toward me? This little sow! She turns to go under the partition fence, broad side, 22 long rifle! Same results, different ends of the spetrum!

On the second pig, I see the blood spot but what is that little hole east of the left eye?

Bluefish, I think that little spot was where Live Oak "got her done." Perfect placement. There is hope, even when your brain tells you there isn’t. – John Green, author

She was done but still flopping. Hence the second shot. Bill you are correct. I had one, that I was sure, was dead, flopped up and ran! It ended up dying in a very awkward location. Dragging off a stinking pig is not fun! Bullets are cheap!
