A friend of mine will be hunting european boar and he wanted to use his single shot .30/06. He was wondering if he could use 150 grain bullets. I have no experience with these animals so i thought i would ask you guys. Thanks Tanoose

They are fairly heavy animals with bullet resistant plates over the shoulders.A heavy weight , 180, and even premium construction would be a better choice......By the way Tanoose, did you get a deer ?I didn't , they've cut down the size of the deer too much, deer take was poor.

No Mete no deer this year , I only got out 4 days as a hurt my back but no one in our club got lucky. Found alot of rubs this year the most in about 5 years Also found to many coyotes in the area, hope to do something about that this winter.Everyone i spoke with that hunts the catskills had a bad year.
