Was able to get out for a quick hunt over the weekend prior to Christmas. The deer did not cooperate but did have this boar show up. I would rather shoot a pig anyway! Rifle was my ATV/Truck/Loaner Stevens 200 in .270. Not very pretty but an extremely good tool for what I have tied up in it.

Nice! Looks like a perfect "eater." I'd rather shoot pork as well. There is hope, even when your brain tells you there isn’t. – John Green, author

For many years our standard Christmas meal was crown roast of pork with a chestnut stuffing ! I've never made it with feral pork though. A fine holiday feast !

The stock photo at the top of the page is a javelina. The critter in the red trailer behind the ATV is a feral hog. _____________________ A successful man is one who earns more money than his wife can spend.

Definitely, maybe Don or whoever can change the photo. Even the rocks don't last forever.
