Kyler Hamann at www.boaring.com runs a thoroughly class operation. The fully packed hunt is expensive, but hey, the food and lodging are worth the price alone. With the early and (hopefully) plentiful rains this year, the piggies should be fat. Cheaper and more basic would be the Carnaza Hunting Club. Call Alex Kuhnle at (805) 475-2341. I've hunted both and taken hog at both places. Preferred? Well, we're probably going to book both places this year. Can't have too much pork in the freezer!

Probably the eaisiest to do is the Tejon Ranch here in Kern County. They have unguided hunts for around $300 and fully guided for $750. A lot of people do one guided hunt and then go back later for unguided hunts.

I can heartily recommend Tom Willoughby in King City. Fully guided $450.
