Nice porker.

There are only 2 things bad about shooting a pig like that. Cleaning them and they smell like my ex wife with her pants off!

Yes, this area has strong Euro lineage. I recently watched a TV hunting show -- I know, I know...big mistake! -- and saw a pink, floppy-eared pig with a curly tail that couldn't have been more than a generation from the "pen."

Those bought-and-released varieties, in my opinion, are NOT wild hogs. I don't care if folks shoot them, "hunt" them or whatever as hogs are destructive creatures by nature and do much more harm than good to the environment, not to mention the pockets of farmers and ranchers. But it does get under my skin when they are called "wild hogs."
