StonecreekThe writing on the photo appears to say Jack County, but the surroundings look more like South Texas. You can't see all that much of the countryside in the photo, so I suppose that it could be Jack Co. How about some details?

jeffeossojack country is NW of Dallas,
looks like more like bexer county, south of SA. black jack oak and tall grass.

Swede44magLooks like a bit of trick photography to me. You can't see the Hogs feet to tell what it is hanging by, and the Man appears to be sitting too far behind the hog but that is just my opinion Nice Hog anyway.
My dad did the same thing with a fish when I was young the fish looked almost as big as me when it was only about 12†long.

Borealis BobLooks a bit unnatural to me. Hogs would usually get "rounder" when they get up around the "650#" as noted on the photo, wouldn't they?

gixxerThat piggie is one fat slob. But yes, the photo doesnt look quite right. Just curious, if one were to shoot said piggie, and if it really were that big, wouldn't it at least have visible tusks?

Try to look unimportant. Your enemy might be low on ammo.

Mike BirdwellJust a couple of observations, 1. I don't think that mesquite limb would hold a 650# hog 2. if it would, did they hang it up with a crane? I know from handling a 240# hog it would very difficult to hang a hog this size from a tree without a come-along or hoist.

COOLMan you guys are UNREAL

tiggertateThe guy is way back behind the hog but on the other hand, the limb is plenty big and it was probably hauled up by the 4-wheeler in the back right. Look at the furough in the ground in front of the nose. Looks pretty deep for a little piggy. Hard to say.

tiggertateAt second look, check the length of the front leg from brisket to toes and compare that to the depth of the chest right behind the shoulder. That's a THICK hog! I'm leaning toward real.
