I have heard of hunting boar in Georgia but I myself have never seen one down here. I was wondering if anyone knew if it was a good place to hunt for boar or not.

If it explodes, shoot something, or has a engine I like it.

Welcome, And yes ,their are some places that have a lot of pigs. Get a copy of the Ga hunting regulations, it has WMAs listed that offer limited hunts. Also there are many Houndsmen, Guides , Landowners, clubs etc.. Good Luck Rug

I was in Ga this past Dec 2004. I hunted for wild hogs and deer. Found most of the hogs near river or streams leading to river. I was hunting southeast side of Macon Ga. Private land. Most hogs were too small for me/about 80 to 90 lbs. May go again this Dec. Will try trapping this time. I brother has got 2 hogs aver 200 lbs this way.
