I am going to try my hand at bow hunting for hogs towards the end of May. I have a two day/two hog special booked near Punta Gorda FL. I was also offered an Asian Buffalo, but am still thinking about it. It is a little expensive for me, but mighty tempting.

That sounds more like a double rifle hunt to me..

It's on an archery only ranch. Limited access and hunting. Should be some good hogs.

I'm planning a three day fishing and two day hog hunt trip around Cedar Key sometime after July 4th. Mid month maybe.

You know anywhere to start asking for permission around there for the pigs?

I am not from that area. Unfortunately I am from Palm Beach County where it is even hard to find a legal place to shoot let alone a rancher that will let you hunt. There are always the state lands. For hogs I usually book a cheap hunt. No hassles and always a good time.
