I have a friend looking for a 3-5 day rifle hog hunt within driving distance of Dallas. Looking for meat animald and maynbe one nice trophy hog. He is looking at February or March time frame. If anyone has anyone suggestions I would appreciate it. ______________________ I don't shoot elk at 600 yards for the same reasons I don't shoot ducks on the water, or turkeys from their roosts. Rifle or Archery? If Archery I suggest Sweetwater Creek Bowhunt. I had a great time there and got a hog along with a large ram. Others in the group also got hogs. I think their website is www.sweetwatercreekbowhunt.com "Let me start off with two words: Made in America" | |||

Thanks Roland. I've passed this on to my buddy. Good looking hogs! Your wife is either very petite or the scales are wrong! If you'll forgive the shameless self plug, I'm within 2.5-3hours of DFW and can do a hog hunt in Feb or March. The Hunt goes on forever, the season never ends. I didn't learn this by reading about it or seeing it on TV. I learned it by doing it. | |||

You might contact 4K Ranch in Brady Texas. Had a great hunt there. 17 hunters put 31 pigs on the ground in two days. Service is excellant. Rusty We Band of Brothers!
