I've been shooting the Barnes 110Gr. TAC-TX FB in my blackout for a while now. Have killed several hogs but never recovered a bullet till last night. 75 yard shot at a 250#+ boar in the neck. Bullet broke the neck and was poking partly through the skin on the off side. Recovered bullet weighed 96.6 gr. These shoot very good in my rifle with 19 gr. of Lil Gun.

Congrats! I've used the 120 grain version of that bullet in a 30-30 Contender on hogs and coyotes and have been quite impressed.

How about posting some photos of your hog and of the recovered bullet? Below is a hog I took with the 120 and the recovered bullet, which very nearly exited. I was running the bullet at just over 2600 fps.

Hey Bobby,
I have a couple of pictures but I've not posted pictures on this forum and apparently don't have the proper permission to. My recovered bullet looks a lot like the one in your picture. I'm also impressed with these bullets.

Here are Doug's photos. That hog is a BRUTE. And it looks like that 110 grain Barnes blackout bullet did very well. I use the 120 grain version of the bullet and really like its performance.

Very nice! I love seeing the recovered bullet photos also. .300 Blackout is an interesting round, We were shooting steel gongs at 300y with the factory Barnes 120gr ammunition. It was flying out there pretty good, I was thinking it was going to have muzzleloader type ballistics.

2600fps is great Bobby! I really enjoy seeing these TC barrels you are hunting with. Cartridges that you don't see too often. Bullberry's, .30-30, 300 savage..the post mortem of each has been fantastic.
