From several threads I've read on another site, they are getting into the cornfields north of here too.

Only corn they are getting into in my area is under my feeders and in my traps!

I believe that cartridge at least ballistic wise is similar to our 8mm Rem Mag.

The 8mm Remington must common load is a 200 grain bullet at 3100-3240 FPS.

That is what I call smoked pig.

Charlie, what bullets are you liking in that rifle? Looking for stuff to feed my sons 325WSM and it should have pretty similar ballistics.

Bwana, Missed your comment earlier. Am shooting RWS 187 grain H Mantel factory rounds. 3 cm groups groups at 100 m. Will have to look up or chrono speeds. Hope this helps.
