Hog Killing Tools
I have come to understand, from many posts here and on the ground experience, there are places to hunt pigs and places where they just need to be killed. I'll bet this YouTube video has made the rounds but the technology used is very impressive. What's even more impressive, are the hunter's abilities to coordinate their firing and put multiple pigs on the ground. I'm sure these hunters didn't put much of a dent in the overall population but their efforts were effective and it looked like fun.

I followed some related links on that page and found another video where they discuss different leading techniques on running hogs at 100 and 150 yards. The buddy who sent me the link said the scopes cost $14,000 US, but it does look like fun.

At least one of those guys is very good at running shots.

Was that a coyote in the first scene, on the left side of the field?

Yeah Jason, that was a coyote! I saw that.

FYI, I learned a very good "countdown method".

Count backwards from 5 to 1. Have all the shooters mouth the numbers with you. Count pretty quickly. Run from 5 to 1 in about 2-3 seconds.

When your tongue hits the roof of your mouth on the word "one", that is when you fire. This is a very effective method. Leaves no doubt as to the exact time.

If I'm not mistaken, Jager Pro is run by a guy assigned to the US Army Marksmanship Training Unit at Ft. Benning, GA. That would tell me a lot about the marksmanship in the video.
