Had a good start to this morning 02-03-08. Had a decent 100lb boar come in to the feeder and we were running late so when we walked up to the spot he was already there. We did a 1-2-3 count and shot at the same time and the .300win mag 180gr ballistic Tip, and .338win mag 250gr Partition did the job.

Thanks guys!

577- I kind of thought so too! The hair on his back was 3+ inches, too bad you cannot really tell in these pictures.

I just bought a tripod for my video camera. I am going to start filming all kill shots. I am even taking it to Namibia in May.

That's a great idea. We tried to film the last time I went hog hunting and my brother-in-law burned up the batteries in camp before we even went out on the hunt.......almost strangled him! jumping

I was unsuccessful while trying to coach each of my boys while filming freehand. It's just too hard, and it's steady when I use the tripod.

+1. Thats a very respectable boar.

The Hunt goes on forever, the season never ends.

I didn't learn this by reading about it or seeing it on TV. I learned it by doing it.
