A bud & I are opening up a day lease near Fairfield, Tx. It's at the 199 (?) mile marker on IH-45. No facilities as yet, but you can bring a trailer, or camp. Hotels are 10 min from ranch.
We are looking for groups of 4-5 hunters for a week-end hunt. Price is $250 per hunter for the week-end. Hunting starts Friday afternoon, and goes through Sunday evening, til dark. Smaller groups discussed.
We have 300 acres of Mesquite and Honey Locust bottom on Tehuacana Creek. No deer or varmints x/c coyotes. It hasn't been hunted for several years, and there are LOTS of hogs! We have elevated stands & feeders in place, and have plenty of game cam pics. Pics sent on request. All stands are near water. We take you to the stands and pick you up.
Right now it is HOT and DRY! You can hunt til about 10:00 AM, then it is just too hot! You can go back out around 6:00 PM, and hunt 'til dark. We will assist you in finding game if you need it. As it stands, there is no limit, and no trophy fees. The only limiting factor is the size & number of your coolers!
