I think it was a week ago (the 23rd) when I popped this guy. Watched the Nockturnal glowing and waving in the dark as he ran off thru the weeds/brush for about 70-80 yds before losing sight of it. Never found a drop of blood or any tracks I could definitely say were his, even though the ground is damp from all our rains.

Couple of nights later he shows up again with a new piercing. He'll meet his maker this week as the winds are going to be nice!

George,

I've shot numerous hogs that had healed over bullet wounds and creases. Happens with rifles also. Hogs are tough!

I am wagering you'll have that pierced porker on the ground before long. Smiler

You've gotta use "enough" no matter what it is.

And, now it is the middle of June and he is still eating at the feeder. This pic is 3+ weeks after he caught the arrow.

And you have not shot him with a rifle?

If he can ever get it broken off, I'm betting that he will likely heal over, and provide some hunter of the future a story, and trophy!
