More hog pics from my bud's south Texas ranch using his 6X47Lapua. Benchrest bullets being used for something constructive ! Needed some excercise so went walking in the woods.. Happened to stumble up on a young male pig on the edge of a whip cane thicket.... He rose up out of his bed to have a gander at the disturbance (me)..... I suppose the last thing he saw was his sinus's leakage problem.. 6x47Lapua with a 68 grain boattail br bullet at 3,780... Karoo, The basic 6.5X47Lapua is .080 shorter than 260 brass approx. The other dimensions are about the same as a 308-260 case. Butch | ||

Ya gotta stop - no don't stop. All these great pictures and stories make me want to go hog hunting, and I'm a long ways from hog habitat. Well, I suppose I'll have to settle for spring black bear. Darn. If successful I'll post pictures.
