We went out Wed. the 9th. We corned late afternoon -- went back to camp to eat---then started patolling the areas we had corned (nasty moss kee toes - had to deet them)---
Saw one coon from 9pm-1am no pigs no deer.....
Granted there were many inacessible plces due to the rains but we usually can find them some where. So we finally gave up for the night.

We got up at 7am went for a ride and found them all over the place. Douglas shot a boar in the head (7mm mag) at 8am. I do have a picture of it gutted, sitting up right in a 120 qt. cooler on the ride to the cooler-- my guess 125 to 150lbs - nice tusks.

We saw several groups out on the roads till 9:30am cleaning up the corn.
Sorry I can't post pic just yet. It sure felt good to be pig hunting again!
