We had our 2nd Annual Big Boars With Big Bores Hunt this past weekend up in the Hill Country of Texas. To go on this hunt you need to bring a rifle from a 375 H&H on up. It gives us a chance to break out the boomers at least once a year and hogs are the perfect hunt for this. This year we had one hunter come all the way from Colorado for the hunt. The hogs weren't huge, but we sure had fun. Most of hogs were taken by spotting and stalking on foot. A couple were taken from ground blinds. I am already looking forward to next year! Bob, Good to see that you're out there whackin those hogs. I've been stuck in town for the last several weeks. Seeing your pix makes it harder to sit here and punch this keyboard. I'd much rather be pulling a trigger. How is the lack of rain there affecting the hunting. Did you by any chance see any turkey while you were hunting. GWB | |||
