Mad DogIt sure did in Texas, when I was there last Feb. Soon as the feeders went off, or the truck left after baiting the roads, it was a race to see if the deer or javies would come out first. One thing, if the javies have never been baited with corn, it make take them a while to find and begin to eat it.

Bob in TXHey Lorenzo,
It sure does. Corning the senderos is very effective for javelina.
Good Hunting,

CrazyhorseconsultingIt will work, but not all of the time. We have been hunting the same 20,000 acre ranch for the past 10 years, and have had times when we never had a Javelina on our corn lines. That is the main reason we do most of our hunting spot & stalk. We have two baited ground blinds for our clients to use, and there hasn't been a Javelina killed out of either in the past two years.

LorenzoJeffe,
Yes I know but they look so similar....

Are they good for eating ???

jeffeossoLorenzo,
like, oh, what do they call them.. canberra?, the water rat (I hear the brazilians call them a "fish") ... it's a rat that filled a niche..
Tiggertate tells me that the javalina can be good eating.... and keeps threatening to cook some...
the musk smell, on the hide and glands, is so strong, I couldn't imagine trying to eat it...
like most musk, though, it doesn't smell BAD in low concentration... but anywhere close enough to actually SEE the critter is too high!! LOL
so, i don't know.. I am certain they would make good tamales... I am uncertain of all the animals I have eaten that have been sold as "pork tamales"... but I don't worry about it soo much, as tamales con chile con carne is one of my favorite things in the world to eat as taqarias
