I’m looking for a place to hunt hos around Easter time near Dallas or Austin. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

There are many such places near both areas.
However, it will help if you refine your question somewhat:
1. Eating hogs in what weight range?
2. Trophy boar?
3. Game retrieval from field?
4. Game cleaning, quartering and place in cooler?
5 walk and stalk or sit in blind over feeder?
6. Overnight accommodations needed?
7. Hunt from airplane?

The list could go on, but you should get the idea.

Just trophy hunting but not important would just take any hogs walk and stalk or blind..Not too specific at this time would like to get one to eat.

It's a bit costly, but Independence Ranch by Gonzales Texas in Gonzales County. Two weekends ago the adult son and I got 9 hogs. Be well. Packy

Contact the Chamber of commerce in those smaller town and ask what rancher off hog hunts. They usually know..I would look to South Texas around Laredo or whats called the Golden Triangle..North Texas also has some good hog hunts..

My sister just sold her 4000 ac. ranch near Klondike out of Dallas and its crawling with hogs..The new owners might let you hunt there..Its known as the Terry ranch and Fish and Game can direct you there..All you can do is ask and all they can say is yes or no..Most ranchers that don't lease will sometimes allow folks that ask to hunt..Leaveing the land as you found it is the best come back anytime...
