Madness, what's a hunterway? That dog looks like it has more than a little pitpull in it. Beautiful dog. How much does it weigh?

hey whitworth a hunterway is a dog breed we have here used by farmers to round up stock and all though pace is 1/4 hunterway it doesn't show in her

i have her litter sister aswell and don't have any pit bull in them as far as i know but you never know with x breeds
they look nothing like the rest of there litter mates which show a lot more of the hunterway in them

this is scobby her sister i haven't ever weighed either of them but would say they would be between 15-20kg max

Nice dogs ,my dogos always kill feral goats because i permitted them to do that ,nevertheless you have to be wacthfull with your dogo because in minutes they can kill all your goats or lambs it happened even with apparently quiet dogs .JUAN

Wow, thanks for the invite Juan. Right now my next and first international hunt is gonna be in East Africa somewhere for a Cape Buffalo. I'm pretty old to be chasing dogs. I did it for over 20 years down in South Texas. Quit when I moved to town about 9 years ago and didn't have anyplace to keep dogs.

hi fgulla yes it is a ruger 44 one of the newer ones with the rotory mag
i also have two of the older tube mag deer carbins

the 44 mag is great calibre on pigs and deer out to 100m
which covers what i use them for shooting bailed pigs and sika deer in tight scrub

i hand load for it with 240gr hornadys

Nice! I have one of the newer models, i shoot the Speer 270gr gold-dot factory load in it. I have only killed one white tail buck with it. I have used the 44mag in a win 94 to shoot a black russian boar. One shot right in the shoulder and he dropped and wiggled some then died. The 250gr Win/Partition gold factory load penetrated the shield completely and was found under the skin weighing 231grs, awesome performance! Good hunting to ya, looks like your having a blast....
