This one showed right after the feeder went off. He stayed behind a feeder leg until it ran off! A doe showed, so I think she spooked him. He came back but the doe stood between us and stared at him. She finally moved and pig died! 375 Ruger. Now for the twist! I built a rack for the receiver with a winch and SCALE! No more guessing! 176.3 pounds! It will be interesting to see if the rack is tall enough and holds up to a really big pig!

See if you can get some nylon strap and have the local shoe shop or leather shop sew in some loops on both ends. Then just wrap two of them around the body on big one's. That way you can lift them flat and don't have to be concerned about height. IF you can't get the straps, let me know I have a roll of it here and will be glad to send you enough to make them with. Just PM your wishes and address. Don't look like he'd of gone hungry. George "Gun Control is NOT about Guns' "It's about Control!!" Join the NRA today!" LM: NRA, DAV, George L. Dwight

I carry a short piece of chain with hooks on both ends to drag em with. I plan on using that. Thanks a million for the offer though!

Made a lift cable with loops on each end and a fixed loop in the center. One end loop over a back leg, one around the snout, hook the center to the scale and lift away. An old pilot, not a bold pilot, aka "the pig murdering fool"
