What does anyone know about Greg Johnson and his Bear Mountain Lodge hunts. Trust but verify. I live a couple of hours away from his place and have spoken to him a couple of time over the past year or two. He appears to take great pride in his operation.. Came close to spending a few days at his place but with a daughter attending Michigan tech. This year it has taken most of my "fun money" and funneled it elsewhere. | |||

A number of years ago, a member here went there and killed a 480-lb boar. Pretty impressive beast. I get emails from them quite often. Theyt are quite pricey IMO. Never been there ,but a friend of mine use to raise Russians and sell them to that place.Those suckers were just plain nasty.He had a 600+ lb Boar that escaped and was killing dogs in Menomonee County Mi.He finely found him and dispatched him. | |||

Boarkiller,your post spiked my interest again regarding this lodge. I am, if scheduling permits,going to spend some time in December or January at Greg's place. Will let you know how it goes. | |||
