I don't know where the pigs have been but they are back. At least for awhile. Sat last night. A couple of raccoons came in after the feeder went off. They started in the middle of the feeder, drifted to the edge and then disappeared! Good sign! Was not long and a sound of light colored pigs came in. No blacks ones this time, unlike the night I missed! With corn on the ground they were moving more slowly. When one of the bigger ones presented itself, I had my Black Alaskan in 375 Ruger, I touched it off. I saw it drop, squeal, then dust flew as it kicked. I waited a bit, rarely have a pig or two ever come back. As I walked down there and could shine around the dove weed I saw my pig. It looked a lot smaller and darker than I remembered! When I got to the pen and could shine more to the front there was my pig! A two-fer! Both front shoulder shots eight foot apart. Both sows 84.1 and 43.8 pounds. When I got everything done and put away to head home it was still 86 degrees at 10:45.

Good job, saves ammo doing it that way. Keep yer powder dry and yer knife sharp.

Glad to see someone is thumping some hogs. Life itself is a gift. Live it up if you can.
