Sir,

I just got back from what I will call, "The St. Paddy's Day Massacre". Got six hoglets this trip. Four on St. Paddy's day, one Monday, one Tuesday. I will upload pix and publish pix of the knives in the knives forum and link to that here.

Best,

GWB

Can you tell me what kind of bases you are using for your Merkel K1 and do they only come in 30mm or are they available in 1 inch.

Thanks much for your time and best regards,

Bill

The Merkel K1's are set up for the Recknagel twist on/off bases.

I have them in both 1" and 30 mm.

I also wanted to add that your various posts with the kipplauf rifles has contributed in a good way to researching, learning about and putting me on the cusp of purchasing one of these beauties, Your various posts on knives contributed to my purchase of my first Menefee. Good taste is always in style ...
