I look so forward to opening weekend of deer season. It is a time to get together with old friends and family. Eat good, drink good, tell lies and all that goes with a hunting camp.
The other thing I like is the hogs on the ranch have not been pressured much and we usually get several amongst the group of hunters.

I heard my dad shoot early right before 7:00. 10 minutes later I heard him shoot again. I talked to him on the radio and he had three hogs down. A twofer shoot and a single that came back through. I told him to hang tight and shoot some more if possible and I would bring the meat wagon a little later.

About 8:15 I had a sounder come running through and I picked out the biggest sow who was in the rear and put a 64 Grain Win. Powerpoint in her neck. She dropped like a bag of hammers. I've used this bullet on a pretty fair number of pigs and it performs extremely well. I load it on top of 24.5 grains of TAC. Pigs are the ultimate test media and after shooting 10 plus with this bullet I have gained quite a bit of confidence in it.

I agree! My freezer is full so I need to make time to crank up my smoker and crock pot to make some room. I don't clean every one but unless it is a really stinky boar I quarter them out and drop them in the ice chest.
