This dang boar has broken two traps, turned over this feeder twice (even though it has 48" rebar driven in the ground to secure the legs) and has run off all the deer and turkeys around. I've got 50 images of him on the camera, but he has never come during daylight.

I guess I'll have to spend a night in the blind if I want to kill the destructive s.o.b. Unfortunately, you can't bait hogs during turkey season, so I'll have to wait some... unless I'm lucky enough to just run into the sucker one morning while looking for a gobbler.

I guess I'll have my .41 Magnum with me.

What a pain in the butt, he is.

He is definately the boss hog. The below picture shows him running off another piggie:

Well Judge, he will be cheaper than an ele hunt. Plus, you will get some revenge for tearing up your stuff.

I hope we get another of your great stories out of it.

Keith

ps: use your 404J on him

Are you allowed to drop a few Apples around during Turkey season or is that still classed as baiting ?

Not if they fell out of your packSmiler
All joking aside, I wish you luck and also vote for the .404J but take the revolver as well.
Cheers

Hey Judge G, I haven't seen you around in a couple years, but I would be happy to help you out with that nasty old boar. He won't be good eatin, but then I would be in it for the challenge anyway. I'd be tempted to use my recurve, but I think the rifle with the night light on it would be more effective!
