The post of the magnificent giant forest hog in the African hunting section http://forums.accuratereloadin...1411043/m/7011087891 got me thinking.

How are these animals related to domestic/ feral hogs, Russians, etc.?
In South Africa we are seeing more and more advertisements for bushpig x European boar for sale or potbellies x bushpigs.
I find it worrying as it would be a great shame to endanger the pure bushpig, but that is another story.
My question is more of science and how the pigs fit together. Has anyone introduced GFH's to the US as ferals?
