Looks like I will be in San Antonio about the 20th or so of January. Wife will be doing a sewing seminar and I should be able to do a little hunt. Any reccomendation on hunts in the area?

Jody Starr Outfitters. I hunted with them in Feb for Javelinas. Great guys and great place.

I have a great pig hunting ranch at Seymour, Texas for $125 per day, use of the nice lodge is $40 per night if you want it. bring some food and cook for yourself. Most of the hogs show a lot of European breeding.

Come on Ray. That's near Dallas, not SA.

Slatts, what's a mere 350 miles? Seymour does have lots of pigs, I'll give that much to Ray. I don't even consider Seymour to be "near" Dallas!

San Antonio to Seymour = 6 hours minimum
Dallas to Seymour = 3 hours minimum.

With a 120 mph average, you can be there in less than 3-hours! Big Grin

There are probably closer hunts, but my buddy and I had a great hog/javelina hunt here.
