Wow - how did the hog not cut him to pieces when he got him down on the ground? I've seen big boars get dogs down on the ground and they really work them over until some other dogs can jump on the boar and get him off.

We had a guy get run over by a big boar hog a couple of weeks ago. The hog charged him from behind and knocked him down but decided to keep running. When the dogs caught him later, we found out that the old boar had some pretty decent teeth: 4-5". The guy was really lucky that the boar failed to cut him when he hooked him before he knocked him to the ground.

Gentlemen

Thank you very much for the kind words.

I have now made a post where the story of the three little piggies on the mud road is told.

This is by the way the bullet from Jay's 308 win. a 180 grn Nosler partition. The bullet was recovered on the inside of the very thick skin.

Cheers,

André
