This is the hog I harvest at the DRSS shoot this past weekend (June 15 to 18, 2007.) I shot it with a Winchester Model 70 Super Express, .375 H&H Magnum with 260 grains Vital Shock Bullets.

The hunt recap can be found here:

Got rained on that night. Also, got muddy and the hog's blood on my while helping load the him into the back of a Ford F-150. It took four guys to load it and it wasn't easy.

Dude, with all those hogs you shot, you'll be eating sausage for quite a while.

Isn't loading dead hogs fun? My dad built a hand crank winch to on the back of his truck to help with that...it saves a lot of grunt work.
Nice hog by the way.

The Hunt goes on forever, the season never ends.

I didn't learn this by reading about it or seeing it on TV. I learned it by doing it.

The last hour of the hunt the skies opened up and dumped buckets of water. When I shot this one, he expired right in a puddle. When the guide bent down to grab his back left leg, there was a nice, juicy scorpion right where he was about to grab.

NICE!

The evening I saw one tarantula walking to the blind. Once in the blind I had two interesting blind-mates - two black widow spiders.

Let me add that they have a scale at 4K and the hogs are weighed, not "estimated".
