This photo still amazes me. It's a wild boar from Mongolia
(home of my ancestors) I have been told this boar was almost 1100 pounds. It's an enormous specimen that looks nearly the size of an American Bison.

Latley there have been several silly pictures of huge farm pigs having been "hunted" to one degree or another. I suppose you would have to have a very loose definition of the word hunt though!

This huge bugger is the biggest actual wild hog I have ever been able to find any real documentation on. What a massive beast eh!

That's how terriers do it. They jump down the hog's maw and then chew their way to the surface!

I do wish we had those in Hawaii though it would be some crazy dog n hog action. I gotta make a call to the local quarantine to see if its possible to import some European boars.
