I would like to take my two grandsons to Texas during Thanksgiving weekend to hunt hogs and cull does. Not interested in trophys, just good reasonable hunting and good meat. Any ideas or recomendations would be appreciated. And any one has dogs so we could hunt with a knife that would work as well. We would be coming from Socorro NM.

Are you wanting to stay in a lodge or campout/stay in hotel? How many days are you looking to hunt for?

I know Caney Creek Lodge in Teague, Tx is running a special on meat hogs....as many as you can kill in one day...you clean 'em...either $150 or $175 per person.....lodging is extra....very nice place and good people...tons of hogs....(254)739-0128...Tell them Cody sent you...

I can take you doe hunting that weekend but I dont have lodging available. Hogs come through my place on the Brazos river but you never know when they'll pop up, they come and go.
It's only on 100 acres but there are a lot of deer. If you want to make the drive I'll take you for $250 per hunter and you can kill 2 does each and what ever hogs happen along.
This would be near College Station, TX.
