Anybody ever hunt with them? The hogs on their website look like good euro-hybrids. Just wondered if anybody had hunted there.

Mad Dog

We hunted there in 07. The people were nice and two of us saw zero hogs. However, I do not blame them completely. The weather that spring was very wet and grass was almost hip height in places. They were not hitting feeders often. We went in April.

They offered all of a us a chance with dogs and a knife. One of our party took them up on it and got a nice hog. At that time the hogs were completely nocturnal and hunted under lighted feeders. Some of the stands were pretty far for night hunting.

I do not have alot of expertice to back up my opinion but from the research I have done finding a new place for next year, they are average on the scale. I have noticed they increased their prices by quite a bit from the last time we were there and that might be attributed to TV exposure on the History Channel.

When we did our research for that trip, we were told they were pretty good. Our trip was not. But hunting is hunting and not always as successful as you would like. They were very nice people though and the guide was almost as frustrated as we were.
