Dear Friends:
Just arrived from La Pampa, in the province´s south limits, 900 km from home, We visited our new rented farm for wildboard hunt pourposes dancing. Tired of visiting Hunting fenced farms and pay a lot $$$$ to hunt released boars moon, My other three partners from BsAs and Me found this paradise. 10000 Acres with 16 km of River coast. (We can fish and tan on summer!!!). Exclusive for Us (Except for some Poachers Mad that still are running under a lead rain, triying to re-float their boat that now looks like as a strainer animal ). On summer, we instaled five blinds diggin, feeders, trail cameras and made some arrengements in the slepping room for a comfortable stay. In March & April´s full moon I couldnt visit the place, because We were hunting with "Billinthewild" in Uruguay with "The Great Lorenzo" and later in Corrientes. But this time I had the luck to come back again.
The other full moon My "Brothers" took 6 wildboards clap beer and divised more than 40 shocker, No Reds, because is not a Deer area Frowner, but some Puma tracks....... Wink
This time We had three days of rain Roll Eyes but Diana blessed Me Smilerand I took a nice, big & pure female, I used My Custom Mauser Studzen 300 W-M- scope with a Swarovski 3x12x50 R-4 iluminated and Hornnady SST 180 grs Factory ammo, with a nice shot in the neck that passed first trought Her ear (See the picture).
But the best help was from a little Surefire Nitrolon G3 model with the 200 lumen Output unit accessory, that I temporaly attached with duck tape to the fore end of the rifle. Yes I know, that red tape looks horrible in the gun, but the previous custom mounting system failed to perfom thumbdown(It blinded me through the Scope) so I used this "MacGiver" solution.
This amazing flashlight allowed Me to shoot in a dark night and under a heavy rain at 70 yards.
Thanks Bill thumb from bringing Me that electronic wonder, and by the way, the Ramsey Custom Axe performed excellent undresing the wildboard ! ! ! clap, Thanks again My friend thumb for that nice present and memory from You.
The place is a little wild, plenty of Mosquitos, Vinchucas, Bats and a new insect for Me; A big and long green criature named locally "Chirimoya" that stinks when You try to touch it!!!.
We fought a little with the mud in our 4x4 Mad, frozen nights below 0 Cº Eeker, but 100% free range and wild Big Grin. The other guys have to make the homework, because two of them missed two giant wildboards shocker the first night, maybe they have to go more often to the shooting range Wink, jeje, or check the gear. The other days We only saw small ones and females. Of course, BBQs, Jabali tenderloins al Disco, and some strange juicy and tasty "Horse Chorizos" shocker(Sausages) made by Edgardo the ranch owner, with a fine Malbec.
I hope You like the landscape pictures, Kind Regards Guille.

Guillermo,

Between you and Lorenzo I've really enjoyed seeing some new country! What an adventure. Your red duct tape sure did the trick and that's a good looking pig. Thanks for the post and have fun on the new property. By the way, that's a different sort of head mount. Good boar and mount.

Hey Guillermo, ¡show us the McCoy!. I don´t believe that you made all that travel and effort to post the picture of a little Miss Piggy. I suspect that you folks hunted some very old and big males and are playing with us.... Big Grin
