Hi everyone,

I returned today from the farm. No luck but at least i recovered the tusks of the pig I wounded some days ago ("The lost one" topic).

Let me show you the plataform I built for hunting from my truck. If the wind changes I just move the truck Big Grin

My truck "naked"

Then I add a very light and simple base with 4 screws.

Then once at the farm I add the rest of the structure.

And last the seats..

I went to a sorgum plantation and I put the truck between the sorgum and some water where the pigs like to wallow in the mud. I wait there at midday but without luck.
The view from the plataform. Under the green grass at the right was the water and the mud.

While waiting for the pigs to show up I killed my time watching birds. Here a viudita (small widow).

The sorgum was high and difficult, making impossible to see or stalk the pigs inside..

Finally we find the pig I wounded some days ago, poor animal Frowner

I thought my shot was a little back but no, it broke the front leg just ten inches down from his heart !!! Frowner

We stayed all night in an open without luck, here my hunting buddy federico telling me where some pigs were fighting but it was impossible to make a shot.

As always, no matter the results, it's great to be "out there" Wink

Maybe next time... thumb

Lorenzo, you could bring that rig to Texas and fit right in to the program here.

Even the rocks don't last forever.
