I have 5 feeders going now on two different places, and pulled the cards today to check. Zero pics ofhogs since Dec 31, and only 2 pics of a single hog since Dec 26.

Where have they all gone?

My brother and his son came down for the week and we took three nice pigs. We've been seeing quite a few pigs though the deer sightings have been down a bit.

Dusty:

That shows you've killed 'em all!! HA!
They've just learned
you keep shooting them so they're
elsewhere.

Stay at it, they'll be back after
visiting the neighbors.

Regular deer season is over now so my other place is on again. I'll be headed out later this week to get things going. Landowner bought his own thermal and has popped 4 on his side of the highway---he says "this is fun!"

Takes about a month after deer season ends for the feeders to empty. Then the easy living is over and they have to start looking for new corn! My shooting picks up about then. Big boars also! Big guys start roaming looking for ladies, find your corn and hang around waiting to meet a big bore! Ha Ha

So true LiveOak--but in my case it could also be a meeting with a sharp broadhead at 238 fps out of my bow . . . With the same outcome--dead pork.

Did you ever get a chance to do anything with the Hornady or Winchester lead BB loads?
