On my last trip to Iraq the locals were trying to get us to kill off a bunch of hogs that were tearing up their countryside. This was near Kirkuk. Couldn't get it arranged as much as I wanted to. Settled for showing them how to build traps. My second trip I came face to face with a large boar on a night dismounted infil to set up an ambush in the Euphrates river valley. I was walking point. No bueno, but all ended well. | |||

The Christians do but the Muslims don't. Same in Turkey where I've been told there is reasonably good hog hunting but the locals don't even want to touch them. Oxon | |||
