My HAWAIIAN BOAR is MOUNTED...

hehehehe... Big Grin

Haven't been on this part of the forum for awhile and wanted to say ALOHA to all...

I finally got back my Hawaiian Boar shoulder mount yesterday after waiting 18 months...

This was taken on the BIG ISLAND of HAWAII in the district of WAIMEA 6500 ft above sea level...

Heart-pounding and exhilirating spot and stalk... 270 Winchester 130 grain Federal AMMO and was a heart-shot at less than 20 ft DRT...

Nice to have him on the wall...he was about 135 lbs and had 3" nasty hooks...

My other HAWAIIAN BOAR has some NASTY 4.5 inches hooks and he should be finished in another 3 months and I'll share some pics of that one too!

Wet, cold, and tired....THE RUSH was awesome!!!

jumping

But here's the real way to MOUNT a PIGGY in the bush and having some FUN... jumping

Hope all is going well!

Been pretty busy as of late and after me and my son came back from Africa we've been on a few new hunting rifle projects and just started to get into BOWHUNTING...da SILENT killa'....hehehe

Gonna see if I can get me one more of these...this one was over 225 lbs. with over 4" HOOKS and about 1.5 inches were broken off on both sides....

Leaving in April for another pig hunt over there, hope you can make it back some day brother!!!

Late-bloomer

Nice mount(s)!!

Had a ball in Hawaii in December, even though we didn't see the sun it 10 days. Was there between the 8th and 19th during the floods. Met a bunch of guys muzzleloading and bow hunting goats and hogs on Kauai. Had a couple of pix of some of my hogs and deer from earlier in the year, so I had some bragging rights. I know I was JAFT (just another friggin tourist), and an anglo at that, but after I showed them the boar pix, we got on just fine. Ya'll have some beautiful country over there.

Even tho I haven't been on this part of the forum for awhile I have seen your posts when I stop in for a quickie every now and then and also on the big game hunting forum.....

Don't worry brother you always got bragging rights when I'm around... Big Grin

Glad you had a nice time here while visiting family and as I said in my PM earlier to you I have a place I'm working out some stuff on...

We'll hunt one day together...I'm the type of guy that enjoys to meet my AR FAMILY (Ohana)whenever possible!!!!

Yep, when you were here it was real bad, but good for us as we needed the water!!! Next time I hope it'll be much better!!! That type of rain storm that last for days upon days is just not our usual as I'm sure you were told!!!

Aloha!
