Wife a me was on the cinema early evning . When we got home I ask my son to join me looking fore pigs. We went out 10pm only 1km from my farm. It have rain a littel earlier and some mist in some places. This time of the year 10pm is not so dark in Sweden. We stop 100m from feeding place, and look. A huge black shadow show up.I did not get a clear sight on the pig . Im 95% sure it is a bore, it was alone and shilluett of a bore. But I want to be 100% sure if I will shot. Is it stupid to shot a big bore if we want more pigs? This pig was as hige as and round bale beside him 125cm at least. To nigh I dream of a large bore Matts

Matts, Delayed gratification can be a bitch. Is this the only boar in the area? Are there any sows around? If your not careful you are going to be up to your ass in pigs. They are very prolific and can be quite destructive. Also, do you have to worry about your neighbor shooting your boar? Sweet dreams GWB

Matts- They come and go and move in favor of the easiest food sources. You can't consistently pattern them like deer. My vote: take him on your next opportunity, for you may never see him again. +1 with Bobby. Those big boars tend to roam. Good Hunting, Bob There is room for all of God's creatures....right next to the mashed potatoes. http://texaspredatorposse.ipbhost.com/
