Mad Dogtexas hog hunt
Looking to go back to Texas again, next Feb. for a hog/javelina hunt. Been doing the usual internet search, but was looking for input from board members. I found one that looks interesting.

TXpitdogI haven't ever hunted Lazy R, but I have hunted the Leprechaun Ranch, just south of San Antonio. The hog hunting is either spot/stalk or from a stand (your choice). I can tell you that if you want a challenging hunt, spot/stalk their hogs. There's plenty of them out there, but you will work your butt off to get one.
Lodging is $30-35 a night, no hunt fee, hogs are $1.50 per pound. They have plenty of pits and grilles for you to use, and they'll clean and store your game if you want them to. We've always had a great time out there. I believe their website is

I didn't learn this by reading about it or seeing it on TV. I learned it by doing it.

dick broussardThis is a new operation that is close to Dallas. I know the land and have seen the hogs but have not had the time to pop one. Call the store and ask for Richard. He can fill you in on the details.
