Killed a nice peanut fed sow the other day and tried my hand at making some honey cured bacon.

Not too bad with fresh biscuits, grandma's molasses, eggs over easy and hot coffee.

Man that looks tasty! I can understand why so many hogs are trapped and/or shot b/c of the damage they do...What I don't get is why aren't they ALL buthchered and eaten?! We travel from Pa. to Tx, Fl, even Calif. each year for fun hog hunts but as much so for that tasty pork!

I have killed close to 300 hogs this year. After awhile people run from me thinking I want to give them a hog! I cannot eat them all

You know you have a pig problem when they are fat enough to get bacon off of!
